Dealing with Depression

What do you do when you are so depressed, so depressed that no one can help you?

You cry alone. Then you go to your drawer and dig out that spare bottle of Escitalopram, down two, go back downstairs, and pop a feel-good movie into the DVD player.

Then you go to bed. And if you can’t sleep, reach over to the night stand, pop a Lorazepam and get knocked out.

You wake up the next morning and you go on with what you do everyday – smile at everyone and pretend that everything is okay. And at the end of the day, you go home. And you get depressed again.

Then you cry alone. Then you go to your dresser, where the bottle of Escitalopram already sits.
