Cooking dumplings

Today I learnt to cook dumplings, the "traditional Chinese way", as Chaoyi said. Haha. First, bring the water to boil, then add the dumplings into the pot. Bring the water to boil again, then add a small bowl of water to bring the temperature down. Let it boil again before adding another bowl of water. Repeat one more time, then let the dumplings simmer in the boiling water for another 2-3 minutes. Drain the water and serve. : )

There you go. That's the proper way to cook dumplings, so as to ensure the contents of the dumplings are well-cooked before serving. Hehe!

The half-dumpling was bitten off by Chaoyi. Yum. We shared 50 dumplings today. I was stuffed to the brim after lunch. But my mouth is watering again, after looking at this picture. Hehe!

I love it when we are preparing our meal together. : ) We should cook more often! Okay, laundry time!
